I’d like to share a little more with you about the John 10:10 Breakthrough Challenge I launched last week on my Facebook page, and explain why the timing is so significant.

“Surely the Lord God does nothing without first revealing it to His prophets.” Amos 3:7

Feeling stuck? Chances are you’ve been idling or paddling against the current for a while.

You are not alone!

There is a time to row and there is a time to rest. If you are like me, that last one is the hardest part. The good news is, if you feel as if you’ve been going against the current, you do not have to work so hard paddling upstream because your story has already been written.

I was asking God what his word or theme for August is, and I heard, “August RUSH.”

If you haven’t seen the 2007 movie, August Rush, it’s a story about an orphan boy, Evan, who runs away from his orphanage. He searches all of New York City for where he belongs and his birth parents whom he was separated from at birth through lies, tragedy and trauma. Evan is gifted with the ability to hear, see and create music in everything around him and everywhere he goes. He feels connected to his parents through the music and knows deep inside that, if he follows the music, he will find them—so he does not stop. Not only did they find each other, but Evan was protected along the way and blessed many through the use of his gift.

There is a treasure that lies within your soul—like a diamond that needs to finish its process before it can be used to its fullest potential. Your creator knows what’s inside of you—because he put it there—and he intends to use it. But, first, you have to let the Lord be in control of the TIME (that’s required for you to develop) and the HEAT (that purifies and perfects you through life’s challenges).

Let your test become your testimony. It will inspire other diamonds (just like you) to FINISH STRONG! This world needs YOU and what you carry! This dark world needs you to be a shining light. If your ancestors never reached their fullest potential, YOU STILL CAN. Your family’s history doesn’t need to be your destiny.
